Bonus Eligibility: Give Bonuses Where They Pay Off
Every day Smartico checks each player's recent play, deposits and bonuses and answers one question: does another bonus make sense? The answer, Eligible, Suppress or Unknown, comes with the reasons, and your campaigns decide what to do with it.
Four Signals, One Clear Answer
The verdict comes from four signals. Each one looks at the player from a different side and has its own weight. A player gets a verdict only when at least three signals have enough data.
- Eligible: recent behaviour supports another bonus.
- Suppress: another bonus is not the right move now. Try an offer without a bonus, such as a tournament.
- Unknown: not enough data to decide. This is not a no: your usual rules apply.
| Signal | Weight | What it asks |
|---|---|---|
| Profitability | 35% | Does the player win or lose over time? |
| Bonus effectiveness | 30% | Do bonuses bring extra real-money play, or replace it? |
| Bonus-to-deposit ratio | 25% | Does the player get more bonuses per deposit than their peers? |
| Bonus share | 10% | Does the player mostly play with their own money? |
Bonus Budgets That Work Harder
The verdict and each of the four signals are player properties for journeys, segments and reports.
Bonuses for Eligible players
Run the bonus step of a journey only for Eligible players, and spend less for the same play.
Another path for Suppress
Send Suppress players to a tournament, a mission or a content offer instead of a bonus.
Keep your rules for Unknown
Let Unknown players follow your usual rules instead of blocking them.
Use the signals on their own
Bonus share tells self-funded players from bonus-dependent ones; effectiveness shows who really reacts to bonuses.
How the Verdict Is Made
The verdict is advice. Your campaign rules, budgets and responsible-gambling controls always come first.
- 1Four signalsEach signal runs only when the data behind it reaches Smartico: bets and wins, deposits and redeemed bonuses.
- 2A weighted scoreEach signal counts for or against another bonus; the weighted results give one score.
- 3The verdictA score of 0.5 or more gives Eligible, a lower score gives Suppress, with the reasons attached.
- 4Every dayVerdicts and signals update daily, and the player profile shows how each one was reached.

FAQ
Every day.
No. It only advises. It never blocks a bonus you give by hand in the back office, and your campaign rules and responsible-gambling controls always come first.
Usually because they win over time, so more bonuses would cut into your margin. The reasons on the player show which signal decided it.
Fewer than three signals had enough data: the player is new or barely active, or your bets are not split into real and bonus money. Unknown is not a no.
No. It decides if a bonus makes sense. For personal amounts, see Favorite Games & Recommended Amounts.
Over time your bonus spend and the number of bonuses go down while play stays flat: you stop giving bonuses to players who do not need them or do not react to them.
